- Hibiscus is the national flower of Hawaii (and many other countries as well). Its name is Greek in origin. It’s part of the Mallow family, whose roots were used in food such as Marsh Mallow.
- Hibiscus, however, is renowned for its flower which is popularly used in tea.
- The tea and other food products derived from the flower are high in antioxidants and antibacterial compounds. They may also help reduce blood pressure, aid in liver health, and possibly even prevent some types of cancer.
- This sacred flower is also associated with the Goddess Kali, an aspect of Parvati (wife of Shiva the Destroyer). She is very much his equal, and is an amazing symbol of the Divine Feminine.
- Her name is derived from the feminine form of “time” or “fullness of time.”
- How well are you spending your time? How fulfilled are you in your present endeavors?
- Spend time like the precious resource it is. Don’t waste or wish time away!
- Kali is here to help liberate us from our old cycles. “Out with the old and in with the new!”
- She’s often depicted dancing or standing on the slain corpses of demons, not unlike Archangel Michael, who stood on the back of the Devil. Her message: you too, can overcome any obstacle or shadow in your path.
- Her dance atop Shiva is also symbolic of the creative and destructive cycles of time.
- She’s akin to the strength card—a Divine Feminine balance to the Divine Masculine.
- In dreams, I saw a restaurant that wasn’t clean, then an image of you preparing your own food instead.
- Clean up your overall diet and rely less on fast food or processed food.
- You should control the ingredients, especially the salt and other additives.
- I was also shown a car leaping across a draw bridge, just in the nick of time. There’s a window of opportunity that’s still within reach, but don’t procrastinate.
- Pace yourself. Prioritize. Focus.
- It’s okay to take that leap of faith. You can (and will) make it!
